Minister for IT, Technical Education and Higher Education meets Governor | KNO

SRINAGAR, MAY 26 (KNO) : Sh. Imran Raza Ansari, Minister for Information Technology, Technical Education and Higher Education, called on Governor N.N. Vohra at the Raj Bhavan today.

Sh. Ansari discussed with Governor several major issues relating to the management of the higher education sector particularly the functioning of the University of Kashmir and some matters relating to Jammu University. Governor re-iterated concern regarding the crucial responsibility of the Higher Education Department to ensure the provision of quality educational facilities for students at all levels, as only such advancement could promote the future growth and development of the state.

Governor advised the Minister to ensure initiation of the required measures to give impetus to the organization of sustained sports activities in all the colleges and universities in the State.
